At Creetown bond, we wanted to pay homage to wonders on our doorstep. We visited local caves at coastal Carsluith, which were once rife with smugglers handling whisky, rum, salt and tobacco. This product is all above board, accounted for and duty paid but we thought it was fun anyway!
 
Batch release 24 is an  12 year old distilled at Glenturret Distillery, specially selected by Martin Armstrong. Originally distilled on 03/12/2013 into a second fill oloroso sherry butt.
 
Colour: Dark gold
Nose: Muted smoke, dried fruit
Taste: Heavy sherry influence, salted caramel.
