At Creetown bond, we wanted to pay homage to wonders on our doorstep. We visited local caves at coastal Carsluith, which were once rife with smugglers handling whisky, rum, salt and tobacco. This product is all above board, accounted for and duty paid but we thought it was fun anyway!
 
Batch release 23 is an  16 year old, specially selected by Martin Armstrong. Originally distilled on 22/09/2009 into a hogshead and later re-racked on 05/02/2021 into a first fill bourbon barrel.
 
Colour: Soft  yellow
Nose: Creamy, butter, vanilla,
Taste: Slightly unusual in a good way, dry, slight spicyness, cinnamon.
