At Creetown bond, we wanted to pay homage to wonders on our doorstep. We visited local caves at coastal Carsluith, which were once rife with smugglers handling whisky, rum, salt and tobacco. This product is all above board, accounted for and duty paid but we thought it was fun anyway!
 
Our Christmas edition Lingdarroch (also known as Release number 18) was so popular and sold out quickly so here is your chance - we have bottled the remainder of the original cask. Please note this is the same whisky from the Christmas edition but a new release as it's had a few extra months to mature. 
 
This release, number 19 is an unpeated 5 year old, specially selected by Martin Armstrong. Originally filled on 30/06/2020 into sherry octaves and later vatted with sister casks. At this point, some liquid was bottled for our Christmas bottling and the remainder (this edition - batch 19) re-racked into an ex-Cawdor Springs Margaux Barrique on 21/11/2025 .
