At Creetown bond, we wanted to pay homage to wonders on our doorstep. We visited local caves at coastal Carsluith, which were once rife with smugglers handling whisky, rum, salt and tabacco. This product is all above board, accounted for and duty paid but we thought it was fun anyway!
 
Here we have a small batch release of only 60 bottles. Batch release 17 is a 13 year old Glencadam, specially selected by Martin Armstrong. Originallly distilled on 06/11/2012 into a hogshead and later re-racked into a first fill oloroso hogshead on 18/08/2021 . We found this to have notes of raisins and tropical fruits with a woody nose.
