At Creetown bond, we wanted to pay homage to wonders on our doorstep. Recently, we visited local caves at coastal Carsluith, which were once rife with smugglers handling whisky, rum, salt and tabacco. This product is all above board, accounted for and duty paid but we thought it was fun anyway!
 
Here we have a small batch release of only 60 bottles. Batch release 5 is a 5 year old Lingdarroch, specially selected by Martin Armstrong. Originallly distilled on 17/03/2020 into a PX Sherry barrel. The sherry influence is quite subtle in this one but we can pick out toffee and spice.
